Based in the rural village of Churchinford, we are a small, fun and friendly Preschool. The village is situated in the heart of The Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Somerset.
We take pride in being able to offer each child the individual time and attention they need. We love the outdoors and enjoy growing our own fruit and vegetables in our fantastic garden. We also have toys and books galore and love to sing, dance and dress up!
The pre-school was rated Good by OFSTED in May 2017. The inspector stated:
'All children acquire good skills to prepare them for their next stage in learning, including going to school. Toddlers and younger children have good opportunities to mix with older ones and confidently join in group activities. Overall, children are achieving or exceeding expectations at the time of their progress check when they are two years old. They continue to sustain this good level of achievement and by the time they go to school, they are independent and socially confident with good communication skills.'

We are able to take children from 18 months until they reach statutory school age in a number of different sessions.
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, that aims to provide children with a wide range of knowledge and skills to start their education. The key principles of this curriculum are as follows:
Making each child unique
Building positive relationships
Learning and development
Creating enabling environments
Each child has their own personalised development folder which is completed during their time at the pre-school and then accompanies the child when they start school.
We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you and your child into our little community!
